What about dendrophylax lindenii the ghost orchid? where does one find those?

AnonYMouse 03-02-2015 01:39 AM

I'm not sure Phal. thalebanii even exists!

Um, that would be mine.

It turns out, if you care to know, that in Europe you can sometimes find this orchid for sale. If you are in the US, you are better off looking for something where the odds are more in your favor. Maybe unicorns. Or sasquatch.
a hundred eyes are looking for it, instead of just two.

I've discovered unicorns and sasquatch in Australia!

Not in great shape but I got one (Madagascar variety) nonetheless. Hopefully the root system will recover and be happy!

I've been searching high and low for a Stanhopea tigrina 'the predator' for a LONG time.

Brent Baker, Rogue Orchids, eBay seller disanuts. He has blooming sized divisions regularly.

I would love to find a replacement for two orchids, lost to late fuel deliveries in winter:

It's a little hard to take that you have unicorns, sasquatch AND a Madagascar leonis. You ought to send at least one of them to me.

Phalaenopsis equestris 'fairy tales', this one is hard to find :(

The 'orchid you can't find' thread

Probably silly, but I can't seem to find Phal. Sogo Vivien. I'm looking specifically for the variegated one. Every time I find a vendor with one, they sell out before I can click the buy button. It's common enough, but I seem to have no luck getting my hands on one.
