That's sooo true! Why is it the ones we can't keep well call to us the loudest! Not fair!!

I think I may have spotted the tip of a fuzzy little spike peeking out of the newest growth on my new Paph. Magic Lantern. Stay tuned.

Susanne

May I come over, kick off my shoes, sit back in a lounge chair, and watch your vandas come into bloom? I'll bring a tunnel of fudge cake.

Hmmmm, fudge cake and vandas. Marilyn, you know the rule about travel companions, right. That applies to orchid people, not just project picks. I need to go pack.

Update update!
I have news! I found an ever-so-small spike on my Blue Tahourdin x Neofinetia Falcata 'White Flamingo' !!!! Too small to get a good picture, even!

The pics I have to show are:
1) Bifrenaria harrisoniae completely opened.
2) P. Equestris x Princess Midas
3) Cirrhopetalum Elizabeth Ann (I put in a wine basket) last year, and the next pic (4) shows a spike!
5) Den. Aggregatum 'Majus' in full bloom.
6) Some of my phals opened on my sunporch table.
7) Milt. Rene Komoda 'Pacific Clouds' (very fragrant!)
8) A little yellow passion flower and next to it is a yellow phal. (Noid)
9) Close-up of the yellow passion flower that is gorgeous and trailing up the wall. Hope you enjoy!

Wow Kiki! Great job. It looks so pretty out there. It's so exciting when we spot a "nubbin" on a plant we've not bloomed before. Your aggregatum is amazing! I'm going to show it's picture to my jenkinsii right now!

My Milt. NOID is slowly starting to open. From what I can see so far there is a lot of red on it. Whee! Had no clue what color it was when I bought it out of bloom several years ago.

Thanks Terri and Sue! It's amazing when new blooms and spikes come on. It puts a little dance in our step, doesn't it?

Been like that since November! It's been a week of 70 plus degrees and I still have snow !!!!!!!! It's going, but it's fighting us all the way. The robins showed up wearing little snowshoes, and today the tree swallows came.

Ross that damned white stuff is still falling here today, and sticking! Did I say I was sick of winter?
