Music
Anyone have certain music they love to listen to, especially while contemplating the orchids and the growing problems/situations they have been dealing with? Relaxation includes being able to view your collection (especially if it is doing well) as well as the beauty of the plants and blossoms. I have fallen in love with music by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole better known as IZ. I was introduced to IZ in Hawaii and love to use his music to pretend it's not so cold and snowy outside

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Mozart and Beethoven, Chopin, and Bach. Thats plant music.
Otherwise Rock and Roll!!!!!!
Though probably not the type you would think a 20 something would like.

My favorite music is Messiah.
I play alot of opera, classicals, and currently am playing Christmas music. Not the Burl Ives Jingle Bells tho I have something similar but rather:
The Carol Albums: you just have to hear Emily Van Evera-a fantastic voice
Christmas with Chanticleer with Dawn Upshaw-another must hear!
Christmas Adagios-a great collection of various artists.

Awsum! Maybe this thread will develope into something folks can use to expand their horizons? I love all sorts of music (except RAP and Polka - that ain't music ) and listen to my share of Chopin and Bach (there is one in particular I love of Bach's - can't remember right now (it's a fugue)- but it rattles the walls with my new sound system).
