Thank you for the info. It sounds like a lot of indigenous plants and animals are endangered for no reason more than mans greed or lack of caring.

Too true. I think most of the decline is due to loss of habitat and unfortunately land management is a local governmental responsibility for the most part. Only the large wildlife reserves are managed at a national or state level. Luckily we have enough responsible people around the place to make a difference.

That is a Gorgeous snake. I like the markings the the golden color of the head.

Wow, you got quite a bargain! Good job! I treat mine pretty much like a normal houseplant. I think it's in promix with some orchid bark mixed in. Always use lukewarm water - cold water will spot the new leaves, especially in the evening. Other than that, it's a pretty easy plant to grow and bloom.
