Default Cattleya mossiae var. alba

This species is so well known that it needs no presentation. I'd only like to say that along with the concolor varieties, the albas are among my favorites!

Phantasm, you are right, the flowers have good substance and the segments are well positioned for the species. You really have an eye for orchids!

Becca, this flowers' pure white allied to the wonderful perfume, as you say is just breath taking. It is in my living room and I can't pass by it without stopping, admiring, smelling. I must seem a bit fool for a neighbor unaware of what happens, who probably would think: "What the hell that guy is doing stopping, staring, bending over that flower each time he passes by it? It must be a new religion and that white flower one of the goddesses!!!". Oh! Well, now I traveled !!

Default Cattleya mossiae

Rossim, What a beautiful flower? Thanks for the pictures. Where did you get the plant and how long have you had it? I am curious that it is blooming now, I thought that they bloomed in Spring.

Mauro...the softness and the delicate appearance, who could resist the wonderful aroma. What do neighbors know until you ask 'em over for a breath taking bend-over... That just does not sound right
