paphiopedilum leeanum - Are these spikes?
Hello, my friends
Just to be sure...this is my first and only phap so far. Bought it almost a year ago so I really don't know how it looks. http://i1343.photobucket.com/albums/...psvrlczli3.jpg http://i1343.photobucket.com/albums/...psesj0xxqj.jpg http://i1343.photobucket.com/albums/...pslsakujk9.jpg |
Yes!
|
Great! Thanks.:D
I'm eager to see how it develops...and I thought I couldn't give it the right conditions. |
They sure are spikes and you have done very well with this plant. Looks like they are going to be big flowers of this old variety.
Well done. Ed |
Looks like a very happy plant with spikes! :)
|
Thanks:)
In fact, this is two plants in one pot.;) |
Indeed they are. Please post :photo: when the blooms mature. Congrats
|
I certainly will...not only this paph, some other genera too.:D
|
What a great sight!
I love it! Majority of my paphs including these paphiopeidlum subgroup and their hybrids bulldogs are all in spike, too! Yay!!! :) By the way, how cold does the winter get where you are? You might be able to grow this outside year around?? |

Inside, where the paph is, min around 12ºC (53 F) and max around 15 ºC (59 ºF), unless I turn on the A/C but this happens only when I'm using that room, which is never more than 2 hrs. Quote:
