Default THE GLOBAL HEATING
It's the global heating... I find this Macranthum in the East side of the the Andean in the cloud forest... at 1200 (m over sea level) with temperatures between 10 - 25ºC .... That is why this adapted soo good to Quito...
In my collection I have 3 of these Macranthum yellow with hell brown... but I have another that is only yellow, and a rare specie that is not so big... Macranthum nanum... the flowers have the same size but the plant is 25 cm high and has not so many flowers... when the flowers opens I send you a PIC...
I have also The Cyrtochilum Pastasae and The Cyrtochilum Cumandae... with a spike that has 3 m... long...
