I am going to have to learn more about the 'worts...they are carnivores and they have pretty flowers....sign me up

I have white, yellow, and orange....i should also have a rainbow and a red but they don't flower....i have only had them for a year and they are small-ish (2' tall in pot) so they might just being obstinate

the ones i have had longer that are in the ground are always a good show.

We don't really have a yard as we live in a townhouse and what we do have for a yard is controlled by the HoA. Plus, my wife wants to see them on the porch or be able to bring them inside to decorate.

Yea, I kinda enjoy the carnivorous plant and so much so that I am looking into others at the moment (well, we already have a drosera as well).

Nice! I really love plumerias but don't have the space for them. I also prefer them as trees and not shrubs but they take so long to become the size of a tree.

i have these older Phals in a hanging planter stacked vertically...i knew when i planted them that way that they needed to lean to avoid crown rot and i inclined them all about 45*.

they really love this location and they have all responded with the funniest growth to accommodate the lean and the light.

this guy is just starting to spike but i love the way the leaves have fanned out to turn to the light

Echoing in on the above post... I make a humble statement (poised into a question) while looking into her eyes: "Lightning or lightning bugs? Orchids, or sitting in a strip club with a stack of twenties and an eight-ball?" Works for me! Because when mama isn't happy, no one's happy.

Hahahaha that made me laugh and I would advise that no one ever say that to their significant other lol

Wow, what a wonderful display. That B. nodosa is a line-bred cross of two excellent cultivars - probably bigger than the generic. When two cultivars of a species are bred, still the species (with the goal of getting "bigger and better"). I'm jealous of your getting B. nodosa this time of year... I'm going to have to wait for summer.

What is the terrestrial? Really nice and vigorous!

Simply astounding.

i think this was sold to me as a Chinese Hardy orchid, but this is me trying to remember from a few years ago while at work (shhhhh)...i will dig up the info sheet i made when i get home.
