the lizards around my porch are like Ethan Hunt...they manage to get to IMPOSSIBLE spots....

for example....this is a collection of mounts, four of them, hanging in the middle of the patio, they are above 6 ft off the floor and the hook is more than 4 feet from the closest wall...HOW???

Well, if slugs fly (and considering the places that I have found them I have to suspect that they do) Leaping Lizards should have an easy time of it.

That one is easy, up the wall, upside down on the ceiling, and then down the metal hanger attached to the ceiling.

DirtyCoconuts 03-10-2020 05:20 PM

easy for YOU maybe!!! i have a tough time with that whole gravity thing

WaterWitchin 03-10-2020 05:35 PM

And I still just want lizards!

DirtyCoconuts 03-10-2020 07:59 PM

Hmmmm so I did a bit of research and it you want to google the eating requirements of brown anoles green anoles and curly tail lizards, I can send you whatever I can catch once it is warmer. They will die for sure in cold weather shipping.

If you think they will survive in your space, just tell me what kind of population you think you can maintain

DC... I just wanna dream about it. I could set up just about anything and make it work. Would do it in a heartbeat if they could sustain themselves outside. I don't want the other six months out of the year maintenance. I've had anoles, etc, in the house. High maintenance. Just WANT them. But it's so kind of you to offer... and everything I can do to keep saying no.

Now... if ya had Italian wall lizards, we'd talk!

DirtyCoconuts 03-10-2020 09:17 PM

LOL!!!
Let me call my herpetologist buddies and I’ll see if I can accommodate you haha

WaterWitchin 03-11-2020 09:49 AM

There are Italian wall lizards here in Topeka, but not in the area I'm in. They originated from a lab many years ago that burned down. I've tried catching them numerous times, but they're quick little buggers.

But they thrive here! Outside! I want to pet them and hug them and call them pretty names!
