This paph however loves hard water! May be that is why it is thriving. Also it originates from higher up in the mountain with winters similar to here in Southern California except dryer.
If you have having problem growing paphs, I would test the ph level of your water. Most modern hybrids resent hard water in my experience.

Actually, the problem I have isn't water. Paphs and I have simply not seen eye to eye in the past. I'm working to play nicer with them.
