I love buds
To me the most rewarding part of growing multiflorals is the big fat buds. Especially when they first open and the petals cascade out.

This one is so so awesome, I wish I could/knew how to grow this one here in Florida, not so good with this orchid family, but adore them!

Wow Bill! That's awesome! So many buds! What is it? Looks like it could have a good bit of philippinense in it with that striped dorsal and dark twirlies. Be sure and post a pic when they fully open!

Why can't you grow them in Florida? Do they like it cool?

I'm not into multiflorals, but I do have one hybrid with phillippinense in it.
The way those long petals unfurls downward as the buds open is quite something, I have to say!

I hope so.
@terri, it's PEOY X philippenese (Kemp Tower). LI Jane had posted one several years ago and I'd been looking. A member of our society was selling this last spring so I got it. Some can apparently be real dogs but some are real nice.
Thanks everyone, I'll post it again in a few weeks when they are fully open.
