Peewee,
I grow mine in bright light with some direct sun, but not midday sun. Basically "Cattleya type conditions," but the mellow kind (I grow my Catts harder than most). I would use the plastic net pots rather than the wooden basket types because these plants like to have lots of root growth into the media. The deeper net pots allow this. Water them A LOT! I water mine every day and they are growing and spiking like mad for me!

Thanks!! What type of growing medium do you use? Moss degrades pretty quickly here in Miami. Thanks for all the information. I can't wait!!!
