I leave water in the saucer under mine. I wait till it is gone in the saucer then water. I only occasionally let it dry out. If you decide to water more, up it a little slowly. Not sure which you are getting, but I think maybe growth. That's a good thing too.

It looks like a growth to me as well, which is still really good.
