Default well worth saving this one!

I saw this looking rough at a home depot last year. I bought two initially then I kept on thinking about this one that maybe if the blooms are fresh and the plant is overall healthier then the blooms would be really spectacular judging from the markings on the flowers so I came back and bought it at a discount and it did not bloom until a year later. I am guessing that this is a Kulwadee Fragrance variety. The flowers smell of fruit loops or grape jelly. The same scent as my Kasem's Delight.

Gorgeous! I'm not a huge fan of vandas, but that is one that I would consider making room for.

That's one lovely vanda and doing so well for you! But where and how do you grow them in winter?

I stick them under HO T5s some of them bloom and some don't and growth becomes slow because of the low temps and low humidity but I provide a visible mist himidifier and a fan sometimes just to get them through the winter and when the warmer temps arrive, I kick the fertilizer and watering in together with seaweed and they respond quite fast. Good growth and flowering for four months and they slow down in the fall.

That's interesting, I bought a Kulwadee Fragrance bag baby at Home Depot last year on vacation in Florida. I hope it looks and smells like yours! Well done!
