IMHO the attractiveness of your plant, Jayfar, is that if you look at it on one side to the other side you might think you are seeing two different plants! This reminds me of a Star Trek (original) episode where two different worlds were battling each other. They were basically the same people, except they had different colored halves on opposite sides of their body.

Nothing to do with eBay, but two Paph helenae, two Paph Hengduan Grace Helen and a Neofinetia richardsiana came my way today from Hengduan Mountains Biotechnology.

All so cute and little!!

Fortunately where I am (Philly) the overnight lows are still staying in the mid-50s to low-60s. And with 2-day priority mail from California to here I think it flies through any cold areas pretty quickly. I noticed SE is offering heat packs with shipments now for a slight additional charge, BTW.

I was surprised that 2-day service even works now with packages shipped on Saturday. I got the plant from yonex1028, which she sent Saturday, early Monday afternoon.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
Yeah, the weather is starting to get wintery for Fort Wayne--we are expecting frost by 2am and by tomorrow night some snow--no accumulation, but when we get our first frost and snow, you bet we're going to experience a lot of car accidents.

Always worked this way. Send packages to CA on Saturday and they arrive on Monday.

Will do, Matt after I spray and pot them up.

The Perners, from Chengdu, Sichuan, China, were here in the Northeast for a tour of orchid societies between speaking at Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh and then the Mid America Orchid Congress this past weekend. The plants were mailed out on Saturday from Ohio and arrived today in such a little tiny box.

Although the richardsiana was not on the price list, they had them in their nursery. It's always a good idea to ask a vendor if they have a certain plant for sale.

*sigh...adding richardsiana to my already too long list*

Adrienne you're one of the sneakier enablers. Matt and Jay? They just flat out tell you to get something but you are way more subversive.
