Steve, the plant is on top of an inverted 2" clay pot...the longest root is about 4 inches crawled down under the pot...its like a spider embracing the pot
Paul...the tip I got was : bright shaded sun in summers and Phal light in the colder months(let it feel cold at 55F at night in winter to induce it to spike) when it spikes continue water and fertilizer as if it is in active growth(in spring) its not the principle of the swamp at all...but follow the principle of the monsoon rains and bright dry summers in Asia
