First flowering for this one. Bought it from Andys about a year ago where he told me it would grow well outdoors even into the lower temperatures. Pretty happy with first results.

I love it. Is the purple pigment from high light or cool night temps? We have had a very cold snap here in Florida and I notice a lot of purple shading and speckling on many of my plants. I like that look, especially with the ascocentrums. My miniatum and curvifolium are beginning to look teriffic.

Mine (also from Andys) looks a little different. It's got a bit of yellow in the centers, and it's a dark pink.
