Excellent advice Miss_Cat. Seed Engei is a reliable source of this Manjushage plant. Many of us on this board have either purchased their Manjushage from Seed Engei, New World Orchids, or Orchids Limited. This is one of the few plants where "caveat emptor" is well heeded.

But the real question are:1. Is it really the original plant? and if not, 2. Are all blooming like the original plant?

You might have noticed they had a 'Hômeiden' seedling as 'Hômeiden' for the same batch. Also, they had sold Den. Ise 'San Kan Ô' as Den. moniliforme 'San Kan Ô' in the past. Whether intentional or not, things like this does happen, and in fact happened. It is good to make sure because it isn't cheap.

Apparently, 'Manjushage' seedlings are getting cheaper than 5 or 6 years ago. It probably will be a lot cheaper in next few years.

Almost made a bid on 'Kishû Ryokufû,' but it is about $30 in Japan. Nice plant, though.
