I moved mine closer to the lights. The buds seem to be developing still...but progress is being made! I really expected the spike to be much longer then what it is....probably around 5 inches if that.

There could be another develop. I had two on mine when received. My son (the care-giver while we were away) accidentaly snapped the longest one off. It developed a second which has caught up with the first. Perhaps the spikes we had when received were slowed down due to shock?
My Aerangis citrata has a spike over 10" long and is starting a second. Still no buds.
