Of course no signs of buds!
Woohoo! Grow grow grow!

I moved mine closer to the lights. The buds seem to be developing still...but progress is being made! I really expected the spike to be much longer then what it is....probably around 5 inches if that.

There could be another develop. I had two on mine when received. My son (the care-giver while we were away) accidentaly snapped the longest one off. It developed a second which has caught up with the first. Perhaps the spikes we had when received were slowed down due to shock?

My Aerangis citrata has a spike over 10" long and is starting a second. Still no buds.

Check the Project 4 gallery and you can see what the flowers look like as they develop. I posted pics yesterday after watering. Each bud is now separated from the spike and they are all growing their cute little spurs. I hope to have flowers before Christmas!

Terri, those are great pictures! My buds are just barely separating from the spike. It is neat to see the progress....I wish I had a camera good enough to capture the detail you have captured. I bet your flowers will be a few weeks ahead of mine! I can't wait to see them!

The back buds are starting to open! I should have flowers in a couple of days.

Woohoo Terri! Mine is still not to far behind yours...I have spurs nicely developed, and still developing probably! Can you post a picture of yours so I can try and figure out how much longer I might have?

I checked it this morning and I think I will have at least one flower open by the time I get home from work. I'll try and get a decent picture tonight so you can see what the developing buds look like. The spurs are twice as long as they were in the last photo I posted. They really grew fast.
