Default Cirr Elizabeth Ann

I have 2 of these. I would like to divide this one and trade/sell the divisions. My plan is to cut the rhizome so each division would have at least 3 pseudobulbs and I would leave the divisions in the pot until spring. So my question is, "Should I wait til spring or would it be OK to do the surgery now and finish the division in the spring?"

It's generally ok to cut the rhizome any time you want, as long as you put off the repotting until you have new root growth.

Thanks Kip... I assumed as long as what was in the pot and rooted will do very nicely. Then in the spring when new growth begins, I can lift each division and repot
