keiki from cymbidium stem?

Hello! I've just been reading these threads about propagating from phal stems or dendro back bulbs, but has anyone ever tried it for a cym stem? :hmm Just wondering because I have one that's just finishing losing it's blooms, and it would be pretty awesome to try to get a keiki from it!
Any thoughts?

I haven't ever heard of this happening, unfortunately. :( I don't think cymbidium inflorescences have what it takes to keiki

couldn't it be considered that den back cane propopagtion to is directly the same as old cym back bulb prop?:scratchhead:

but if you are asking "it would be interesting to try cym stem prop" I guess if you never try you'll never ever know :D
