Default keiki from cymbidium stem?

Hello! I've just been reading these threads about propagating from phal stems or dendro back bulbs, but has anyone ever tried it for a cym stem? Just wondering because I have one that's just finishing losing it's blooms, and it would be pretty awesome to try to get a keiki from it!
Any thoughts?

I haven't ever heard of this happening, unfortunately. I don't think cymbidium inflorescences have what it takes to keiki

couldn't it be considered that den back cane propopagtion to is directly the same as old cym back bulb prop?

but if you are asking "it would be interesting to try cym stem prop" I guess if you never try you'll never ever know
