D. cuthbertsonii bicolor
This is probably my favorite orchid, though Soph. coccinea runs a very close second. This clone came from Mountain Orchids and is blooming for the first time with three flowers and two buds:

awesome! I have the same plant from the same vendor and it's one of my favorites as well.
Have you seen the picture on the web of one of those that's basically a ball of flowers? Amazing. |
I have seen the picture and it is amazing. Great plant and flowers and hope to see some pictures of yours.

I just love this one!
how does it like to grow? |
Thanks for looking and commenting, WhiteRabbit. It's cool growing. I grow it as close to the lights as I can (4 HO fluorescent bulbs), keep it moist and as cool as possible. It's in a small clay pot in sphagnum at the moment.

Love it!!!!

Thanks, Jonada.

Let me know when you get tired of it.
|
I will! Actually the flowers last so long that I do get a little tired of them.
|
Ok, rub it in. Are you tired of it yet? How about now???
