I love the compact size of this, and the blooms are pretty as well, they look so wispy!

wgama 01-19-2010 10:23 PM

Cool! Is it a hybrid?

Country Gramma 01-19-2010 10:46 PM

That is so cool. Would it do good mounted or just on a wire?

It is a lovely species.

Thanks for the comments everyone!
wgama - yes as Ted mentioned this is a species.
Karen - not sure to be honest! I have it on a pad of moss attached to tree fern and it loves it - the roots dig deep into the tree fern. Supposedly this one is grown quite dry. I let it dry in between waterings, with a slight reduction during the winter.

According to IOSPE, this is a rare and endangered plant. The site also says there's no fragrance, but mine smells really good, like hyacinths
