Default Restrepia guttulata Lindl.

Every time I look at this orchid I can't help remembering some kind of cockroach ! Nice thing about this one is that it flowers numerous times on the same leaf. This lives in the wild in Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador.

CRAZY! I DOES look kind of like a cockroach! Nice as it is.... if I ever move back home to Jamaica, I don't think I'll be buying this one and putting it in my bedroom. I'd have a heart attack every time I woke up

But it's a really neat plant! Is it fragrant at all?

Hi Mauro! I really like these crazy looking orchids. I have two, but I have yet to see it blossom. Unless I need a magnifying glass to view it.
I think they look like clown faces! Very cute little guys! kiki

Kiki, yes there are some small flowered Restrepias, but this one need no magnifying glass . The flowers measure 3cm longitudinally!

DJ, this is easy to grow and also a small plant that flowers many times on the same leaf. Cool, ha?
