My Lep. tsubotae is doing quite well since I removed the sphagnum moss wad that was over the roots and started a little locally collected live moss around the roots instead. It dries out quickly so you have to be careful. Also, I had been placing it and my Lep. woodburyana in a container with a cold pack at night to drop the temps into the upper 50s for a few hours, but it does not seem to need this to flower. I even had it outside for a rainy, cloudy week where temps reached the mid 80s some afternoons and it did fine. Currently on vacation so I brought it with me. This species is apparently fairly adaptable and not at all an obligate cool grower. I think I am going to do extremely well with Lepanthes telipogoniflora when I can finally afford to order one!
