I just got this guy too! I love Scaphosepalums, they're so cool!!!

Scaph fimbriatum has flowers that are roughly 1/2" in length and they bloom sequentially from the same spike.

Scaphosepalum flowers always remind me of Audrey 2 from "Little Shop of Horrors". I sometimes fool around and talk to the plants hoping that they'd somehow say "Feed me, Seymour! Feed me!"

I love it! Such a different flower, I can easily see why you'd fall in love with a genus of such unique looking plants!
