I agree with Gin, it sounds a lot like cell collapse. This also happens from drastic changes in temperature and humidity. When these conditions change too rapidly, the plant doesn't have time to adjust...and the cell just collapses. It should be alright, but it will always be on that leaf, it's kind of like a tatoo or a brand. As long as the leaves that are dieing are bottom ones, this is normal (to an extent). If one or two die, okay, but if the others start to follow.....there's a problem below the surface!
