well, i posted a few others as i went down the rabbit hole of orchid pollen, most of which focused around the pulcherrima. oh well, i found the stuff interesting and informative, so maybe you will like some of those article too.

still haven’t found what im really looking for, which are academic articles which explain the methodology of artificial pollination. all of these focus mainly on post development effects or morphology...which again are super informative, but not really what im after. oh well! i never did positively identify pollen from the taenialis. all the pictures im see8ng don’t replicate what i saw in person. so perhaps due to imperfect conditions or some other abnormality the flower did not produce pollen? i dunno...it would be nice to have more flowers so i could slice one in half and see where all the parts actually are on this one....
