I love orchids that grow into a ball. I've mounted some hanging on wine corks to achieve spherical growth. This one seems like its always in bloom. I used to have a stenostachya with a dark reddish lip. I miss it.
That is excellent, great growing! Is it a cool grower or is it tolerant of warmer temps?
Intermediate temp. I've been growing these for a long time. They seem very forgiving. Mine have lived through catastophic neglect and devastating scale infestation.
You have some excellent blooming on that one. Mine has not stopped blooming for years. But recently I have lost about 30 or so leaves from the top of the "ball". Not sure why. But its still in bloom.

Love the way that is growing in a ball. I know what you mean about it being a pleasing way to have them growing but none of my orchids are suitible for that.
