I was starting to think that the plant should be renamed
Amesiella procrastinator! I'm glad that most at least are getting some progress, albeit a tad slow for some. Is anyone having major problems?

And an update on mine: Still NOTHING happening!!!!

For the people who are actually getting growth of any sort, what temp/humidity/light/watering are your plants getting?

I'm afraid that if my plant doesn't do anything this summer, it's going to sit there until next spring, since in the winter the conditions aren't as nice (for instance I don't supplement with artificial light, though maybe I should.

Too easy, my averages are
70% humidity. 17deg(C) night and 26deg(C) day. Medium shade, no direct light at any stage. I water heavily every morning now for 10 minutes and that's all, as it is now my dry season. I have now cut back fertiliser also to half strength once a week.

I use an open, course media consisting of volcanic rock and charcoal for quick drying and ample airflow.

Happy to report that nothing bad has happened in the past week, ableit nothing good either. Switched to brand new, fluffy NZ sphag. Temps ~65F night, 75F day. No fert til I see new growth and roots; heavy on the seaweed until then. Leaves are pleasantly succulent. Shaded by my den. spectabile all day. Crossing my fingers something will happen!

Mine and mothers (which I am looking after till I see her at Xmas)
- baby leaves growing
- one root on each growing longer (the thickest ones)
Humidity between 70% and 88%
Temp @ low 26C and high at 27C for last 3 days ( heat wave) otherwise never below 20C
In terrarium
No direct light. Terrarium in W facing window.
Plants on terracotta mounts standing permenantly in
1 to 2 cm of water and get laid into the water once a day till all roots green up. None of the roots touch the water when stood up. Hope this makes sense?

new leaf is growing, roots are growing. 85 degree days under the T5s, about 15 inches from the light. 65 degree nights water every morning. Fert monthly. Fans running 24/7.

I promised I would get my pictures up of my project plant. My roots look good but I think I may add a extra day watering this one. It was used to a lot of water when Ray was caring for them so I may end up changing its care a little bit. I also placed it outside in the green house on cooler days. The rest of the time it stays on my end table in the living room. I have a covered front porch so there is no direct light on it. The window is one of the biggest I have and gets the most light through it.

Well I started out putting it in my north facing window in the kitchen where I have the humidifier for my Masdes. We have been having way more humidity than we usually have so that has been good. The temps were in the 60's up to lower 70's at first. Now I have moved into my spare bedroom that is a storage room for now. It has gotten much warmer so now it may get into the upper 60's at night but 70's in the day time. At least what I have checked as of yesterday.

I gave it seaweed when I re-potted it and at least one other time maybe more. I let it get almost dry before I water it again. But not to the point where the roots get gray.

Mine is hanging with the Angraecum didieris and Angraecum elephantinum and getting treated the same as they are. I gave it water with a nice dose of MSU fertilizer/Ironite/powdered milk since we had been having constant rain along with higher temperatures and the Angraecums needed a little boost. My monticola just gets whatever care they get as I tend to forget that it isn't one of them while I am watering.

Great minds thinking alike?

Mine is alongside some of the Angraecums as well. (Didieri, crassum and an Aeranthes gradiflora)
