Thanks, Nenella! I wasn't sure what to do with it, I have been reading the thread Vandas in S/H Vandas in semi-hydro? and decided this would be a good compromise, I hope the "vase" will survive - they sell them as candle holders here, but they are perfect because they are so even shaped and wide. I would have had a clear sided one but for some reason that was more expensive than the crackle glass!

For any one who wants to see more pics as we go along, I have started an album http://www.orchidboard.com/community...ect-plant.html

Good growing everyone!

Heather

Heather you gave me an !
So, last night I decided to unpot my plant and grow It like I grow my Ascocenda miniatum (which I get to flower nearly every year... flowering now) So should work with the Rhynchostylis coelestis. I have put it in the same window (S). Here are a couple shots - Apologies, they arn't very good (It was late )
I need to get a slightly bigger vase, but this will do for now.
