Not very productive. Myself and 2 others made it to the chat. No new plants where added.I've noticed a lack a participation with this project. We need quit a few more plants to get 10 for each group. I'm going to take suggestion until the end of next week. Then I'll go over the existing list and find out which ones can be found in all area's and omit the ones that can't. Whats left is what goes to poll (whether it be 2 or 10). I'm not sure what else to do.

If there is anyway I can help, please let me know! I'm pretty new to orchids and don't have orchid wiz but I'm game for researching plants! Just let me know what you need

Thanks Katie. I just need plant suggestions that will fit the project requirements and be available in Canada USA and Europe. I was hoping to get 10 or more plants per group Cool, Intermediate, Warm. Some of the plants on the list can not be found in Canada so they will be eliminated. As soon as I can I will update the list so we can get a accurate count of the plants listed. Thanks again

Hi Dave, I'll see if I can try and help out a bit. I think the reason why not many people made it for the chat is that the weather is nice and we are all outside doing stuff I'll try and look into some choices this evening, hopefully I won't duplicate anything that has already been researched and ruled out, is there a complete list available on what has been ruled out, or is that in the first post of this thread?

Thanks Becca. As long as the plants fit the criteria they will go on the list. The only thing is we don't want to delicate previous project plants Or get plants to big. The hardest part is finding them everywhere. We have 30 some people participating but only four or five people are suggesting plants. If everyone could find 2 plants to suggest. We would have more then needed.
I think that if I try another project, one of the rules will be that you will need to find 1 plant for each group they plan on joining, after all it is a project for learning, what better way to gain some knowledge.
Thanks again any help will be truly welcome.

Sorry, I didn't make it to the chat. I was busy working on the orchids all day and didn't think of it until 5:30. I don't think I would have been much help anyway. I already see the plant I want on the list and hope it makes it this time! I am excited about the project and look forward to the voting so we can buy our plants!

Are these the only plants found in all three areas?
