Any new spike that was not there when the plant arrived?

Aren't we getting into the blooming season on these guys? We could very well have new spikes in a week or so.

Please clarify. Mine did not have any when it arrived but with the humidity and summer hitting this week, new growth is everywhere!
:scratchhead:

Well I think the best way to go about this to take a picture of your plant when it arrives showing it does not have a spike. So if it develops a spike after that your in the running. Remember its the first and second person who gets a flower. Just because you get a spike doesn't necessarily mean you will get a flower.;) At least thats the way it is for me. Good Luck

Did you order from Oak Hill? If so, you should have gotten it by now and I would call them first thing tomorrow.

of course maybe I am pronouncing it incorrectly - and taking some liberties with pronunciation to come up with a name ;)

I agree with Dave...please give Oak Hill a call tomorrow to inform them of the problem. I spoke to Liese on Saturday and she really wants to know if there are ever any problems so they can be resolved quickly

Their phone number is in the upper right corner of the page:
Oak Hill Gardens

Nice to see all these neat babies arriving. I have to wait until May 17th when Paramount is bringing mine to the Vancouver show. It will be mounted so I'll try that for a while and maybe transfer to a pot later.

:)
