I just got off the phone with Liese

She said folks are ordering and calling constantly and says everybody is SO nice!

So...I placed the order Laura and I are sharing
It's gonna be a BIG box even if it is filled with little chids

Besides the Haraella (decided to get just one), I ordered:

Eria bambusifolia
Phal bellina
Vandopsis parishii v. Marriotiana ( )
Paphinia Majestic (a replacement for the one I killed)
Den hymenanthum (one from my wish-list! )
Phal (bellina x lamelligera)
Kollensteina graminea
Sarcochilus hartmanii (which almost made it to the top three in our poll!)

Laura ordered 6 besides the Haraella

It's gonna be so much fun unpacking this one...and trying to decide if I should actually give Laura every plant she thinks is hers!

I just placed my order with Lisa at Oak Hill! She was very helpful and nice. Since the big Redands show is only a month away I decided to get just 3 TCs.

Phal equestris (blooming size)
Encyclia 'Green Hornet' (in spike)
Polyrrhiza lindeni

I ordered the last 2 because I have been wanting to try my hand at some Everglades orchids. I know, I know... and I won't cry if it croaks. The 'Green Hornet' is 3/4 cochleata and supposedly looks almost identical to the species. But is is big and blooming sized, possibly has spikes. As for the ghost, I live just 1 mile off Alligator Alley, so hopefully I can make the climate right for the tempermental little thing.

This is going to be a lot of fun!

Here's what I ordered:
ONCIDIUM ampliatum majus
TOLUMNIA sylvestris
Aerangis biloba
Haraella retrocalla
POLYRRHIZA/POLYRADICION lindeni mounted PSYCHOPSIS papilio var. aurea
I've never done a mounted plant before, wish me
(or I should say It) luck.

It's fun seeing what everyone else is ordering as TCs! Such a wide variety.

Sue, I drooled over this one for a while Phal. (bellina x lamelligera). I decided to stick with straight species this time around.

LOL...I knew I was getting the species for sure, but then I saw this one and Couldn't make a decision so I got both

I was very surprised when I received Laura's list today. She and I have very similar tastes but with this order, between my 8 and her 6 (besides the project plant) there was only one duplicated on both lists!

Oak Hill has some really cool stuff available!

Very nice choices

I love my mounted plants...keep in mind that they do take just a bit more effort as they dry out faster.

Wooo I ordered my plants! I grow in two old aquariums so my space is very limited, but I could not resist adding two TCs in anyway. I got:

Haraella retrocalla (of course)
BULBOPHYLLUM frostii mounted (I like creepy flowers)
BULBOPHYLLUM triste (pretty!)

I have not purchased any plants in months, so I am very excited!

Great choices! I'm a big Bulbo fan. Almost got the frostii myself. But, the stinko factor made me decide not to.

Go ahead, Yvan - I have frostii, and like most (but definitely not all) Bulbos you can't really smell it unless you stick your nose right into the flower.

Oh, I probably will get it at some point. I just used that as a way to help myself cut back on the number of TCs for this order.
