Do you think you might really take a trip to New World Orchids? That would be SO much fun! Four hours isn't a very long way to drive, not really, not for orchids.

If you go. . .please take lots of pictures!!!

And what a fool I am this month! Couldn't sleep all night because I was thinking about this trip.

The decision on when to go will be made today. I just want to call Dr. Lehr back again and check. I'll go this weekend if I can, but he sounds busy, and it might be easier to meet him at the Ann Arbor show next weekend. Who knows!

If you go to Dr. Lehr's, please do thank him for all of us! He has to be special to go out of his way to help us as it probably puts extra work on his busy schedule, let him know how much we appreciate it.
Thanks,
Al

It will be like going to visit Willie Wonka in his magical chocolate factory!

Be sure to tell him how much we appreciate all his work and how happy we are to have found the golden ticket at New World Orchids!

OK! So I'm going to have to meet Dr. Lehr at the Ann Arbor Orchid Festival instead of going to visit his greenhouse

The reason being that this weekend he will be in Chicago for the show there, so I'll have to wait a week (probably for the best ) I'm so excited! He's such a sweet man

Well, guess what was waiting for me when I got home? My NWO order that's what! Woo hoo! The nicest part is that I sent in a money order yesterday figuring that I wouldn't get my order until next week or something. Isn't that just so cool? Everything was very well packed and still nice and toasty from the heat pack. One of the leaves on my Benisuzume is bent slightly as you can see in the photos but it probably just got a little folded during it's short journey. They are so adorable, I just love them! I'll also include some pics of my Sedirea japonica too since it did come with the order. And it's in spike!

The first one is of both the Benisuzume and Tamakongo. Next 2 are the Benisuzume, then the Tamakongo. Last 3 are of course the Sedirea japonica-Nagoran. Hopefully the pics show up okay.
