Hopefully this one will do well in my terr. Last time I tried one on my plant stand, it grew well enough but always aborted any and all buds it tried to put out. Only thing I could think of is perhaps the humidty was too low.

The column cap on this one reminds me of a space alien from the movies.......

Oh & it really is this yellow

Hi Paul, I have the same plant (I think it is tagged as Promenaea citrata x Limelight Promenaea citrata - riddle ) and am waiting for it to open buds... I had it first in a place with quite high humidity (having it placed in a large transparent pot with LECA on the bottom and open on the top. 85% humidity). For some reasons, it aborted most buds in this time Then I decided to take it out of the big pot and keep it with the Dendrochillum (30 - 40% humidity, cool nights [approx 17°C]and slightly warmer days [approx 20°C]) no buds blast anymore However, I think it was too late, and have only 4 (out of approx 12) spikes growing...

Cowboy (Paul II), you mean this plant stinks!? It was given to me as a present, and they said it should have a nice scent...

Default finally... but..

ok, my Promenaea Meadow Gold finally opened its first flower, but I think it just forgot it had to turn the buds 180° before opening. The flower is upside down...

it is its first time at my plave, so I hope it makes it better for next year(including the number of flowers)

and as per fragrance... nope! No fragrance at all...
