I grew up in Vermont - only lived on Maui for 21 years - and I definitely know how lucky I am to be picking tomatoes for my dinner salad on 12/14! This is a marvelous plac eot grow things - although pests do flourish also. I enjoyed the tip about using hydrogen peroxide - I rotate neem oil, 70% isopropyl alcohol, a wicked chili pepper spray that i make plus as much visual vigilance as schedule permits - nice to have a new weapon to fight those pesky pests. I think I'll learn some good stuff here.
