New Miltonia Orchids...or are they? Male
Default

Miltoniopsis was once lumped into Miltonia, and although it’s a long time since they were split many growers have not updated their nomenclature. They’re probably waiting for some taxonomists to lump them back together again (which will surely happen).

Anyway, they are very nice specimens. I also like to find something similar for my noids - I just label them in the format ‘Miltonopsis LIKE Dark Knight’ . That way I don’t loose track of what the plant will flower like.

I wish we could grow Miltonopsis here.
