Bamboo mount? Male
Default

I have another of the reed stem in water and it is more plump than teh one potted and making more keikis. so I would keep it in water. Maybe you have a greenhouse and have higher humidity.

Dendrobobium. the multiple keiki is attached to the oldest cane of the plant that produced new canes. The old cane with the keiki came off, the roots of the keiki are 1 or 2 inches and probably still feeding from the old cane. you could mount it but I think bamboo may be too dry etc. I had success with coconut. One as a pot filled with coco chips and another a coconut husk, a layer of NZ better gro sphagnum [I used another brand that was crap and smelled musty / moldy, better spend a dollar more and get the sphagnum that does not kill your plants]. The dendrobium seems resilient. Was one of my first plants and last summer i underwatered and still bloomed, produced keikis and new growth.

I have some wandering jew cutting[ they root in water and Opuntia sp. seedling that i can include if you are interested and can care]
