That's an impressively-displayed collection you have, Edward. Are you able to keep your orchids outdoors all year, or does it ever get cool enough where you live to warrant bringing them indoors?

I keep my orchid outdoors all year, but I must be careful during the summer and winter.Summer is a bug season
,come with high temperature and humidity, and the threat from typhoon .When the winter is coming, sometimes the temperature will lower to 10℃ below, them I have to stop watering.
By the way,for the new friends who want to mount,my suggestion is dry your orchid for 1~2 days before you mount it.Do not fertilize it for the first 2 weeks, after that, put some phosphate to develop roots.
If you use tree fern, steep it in the water for a week, refresh water when get darker, this action will be good for root development and spped it up.

Cheers with your mounts
