My wife just bought this. She bought another just like it about two months ago. I hope it's a species. If it's a hybrid there's probably no way to identify it.

This is not a species Cattleya. It is a hybrid of Mem. Robert Strait, probably.

OK, sorry to be so slow responding to your note. Checking further, I think you're right, It's Laelocattleya (Lc.) Memoriam Robert Strait "Blue Hawaii". Oops! It might also be named "Blues" or "Island Delight". All three look the same to me. Well, at worst it's pinned down to being Lc.
