Default A couple of Dends in bloom

This first Dend. is made up of 2 small canes and is finally giving me her blooms. It used to be huge (picture #3) until a rain storm blew it off the top shelf, one night 2 years ago. (I now have everything strapped down with bungee cords!) I lost half the plant that day and after the re-pot, scale appeared and took most of the salvaged, remaining plant. I put it outside, forgot about it until recently and this is what's left. Doubtful that I'll ever get it back to where it once was but, I'm grateful for what's left.

And the lavender blooms are faithfully beginning once again.

Thanks for looking!

Gorgeous. Such a shame you lost most of the first one but at least it's still flowing for you.

Very pretty Sandy! You can't keep a good Den. down. It will be back to it's robust self in no time under your care.

Hi Sandy

The third photo was my favorite when you first posted it and I am glad you could save this attractive plant.

It is delightful to see a beautiful clone survive in our home in spite of setbacks.

Dang! The third pic made me drool. The fact that you are bringing it back from the brink is darn impressive too.

Thanks everyone and Terri, for your confidence. Out of all the losses, this Dend. hurt the most. Here's another pic of what I lost. I can only imagine what it would be like by now, if it weren't for that fatefull night...and, my stupidity.
