Hi
I have a Dendrobium Nobile Wave King 'Butterfly'. In order to get blooms in the spring, I was told to start letting the plant dry out a bit starting in october, and then give it a real winter rest starting in november. However, I let my plant dry out for one day, and last years pseudobulbs are as thin as a twig, and completely depleted of moisture. The new mature canes, however, appear normal. Also, this plant is still growing new roots and has three keikis which I have not removed. Could it be too early to start letting my plant dry out a bit?
Thanks!
Cam
