Default Den. bracteosum 'Pink'

The species comes from New Guinea and is said to be a cool grower. But in real cultivation, it does well in our subtropical weather all year round. The blooms of this species is so long-lasting that it is outstanding at summer orchid shows and also popular among orchid lovers here.

Sorry I could not give you idea because i have never tried windowsill culture for orchids.

The species likes higher humidity and at the same time, good air moving is suggested; hence I personally think it would do well in greenhouse.

Den. bracteosum is a good plant to have in your collection. As pheli mentions, the flowers are long lasting. The flowers will last for 2-3 months. Besides pink, white is a common color. The plant is an easy grower under tropical conditions.
