Default Paph. Prime Child (primulinum x rothschildianum)

Paphiopedilum Prime Child (primulinum x rothschildianum)

Purchased in bud on eBay from seller pupsi_dog.

Arrived in great condition; bud continued to grow and develop on arrival with no problem. Second bud is also growing right along.

I've been lusting after a Paph. rothschildianum for awhile, so I figured I'd start with a primary hybrid and go from there. I haven't been disappointed. This is a massive, spectacular Paph, with a 6in/15cm span of hairy, speckled, twisted petals, striped sepals, and a huge, streaky, pink pouch.

Hope you enjoy!

Awesome ... thank you for sharing.

In fact I am interested in your pic's, some years ago I bought a paph and name was lost in transit. The flower is very similar to yours and wondering if mine is same cross.

Many roth cross with sequential paph will look very much alike. You cannot properly ID yours.

Nice purchase by the way!
