That is to neat. Love it. Should try that. You must spray it everyday?

Is that the true color? Orangy? IF so, wow!

Thanks! I think it is probably best to mist everyday, yet I chose a wood and mosses that will retain some moisture for the plant for a prolonged period.

Yes Tin, that is the true color... this plant is one of my best Phrag. besseae. It has a nice roundness to it and pretty good form, and an interesting color...

NICE! I am trying P. delenatii mounted.
I spray it every midday. Has a new growth. I used sphag fibers with some kind of woody fibers that were used as packing on some order I received.

How did you keep the mosses from falling off? What kind of mosses, the tropical Diacrinum?

Great plant, I have never seen one grown that way.

Amazing that you can maintain it and you have my full admiration for achieving that kind of result.

How about some piccys of that Paph. delenatii? Sounds like it will do great and interesting in bloom!

As for the mosses, I collected the wood mount in July with some moss already growing upon it. Since then, the moss has grown more. Around the base of the Phrag. besseae on the mount, I have a different species moss, which originated from a rainforest. The pieces of that rainforest moss are held by the roots of the plant, and will soon attatch themselves to the mount (removed the bottom dead layer of moss).

I am yet to have a phrag in my collection.

I think this species might be the first one to
seek out!

It's so beautiful! Do you keep it in orchidarium ? What is your humidity level there?
