Su Xin is the alba form of this species. There are several well-known su -xins found in Taiwan. Like typical ensifoliums, they are fragrant.

In Chinese ; tie = iron
gu = bone
su xin = alba
means stiff narrow leaf and flower in alba form.
This species is difficult to flower,you are an excellent grower.

Thanks for the information
It does have a wonderful scent, all thru out the day. Although I don't know how to discribe the scent
I was surprised to see the spike, since she was transplanted a few weeks before the spike(s) appeared

Transplantation is a common way to initiate spikes of some orchids.
It is said that a dry period, about 6-8 weeks, before their flowering season would also facilitate their spikes.
