The Growing Conditions Poll

My Phals, which are most of my orchids, are indoors. Some are next to a window (although a shaded window; I can't move the curtain very well) and others are under a light.

My Den and Catt are outside.

I'm going to work on making a space in my room for a mini greenhouse, too (because obviously I'm going to want even more plants in the future, and I have NO IDEA how else I'm going to have any room for some of my currently-outside plants in the winter).

My money re those you now grow outdoors, is on...you will FIND A WAY.

I vote other. I grow most of my plants outside in the summer, but in the winter I grow most of my plants in a solarium. I love it, but since it is part of my home it presents different challenges than my friends who have greenhouses. It is heated and since the entire room is windows, I actually have issues with my plants getting too much light in the winter (and my state is not known for its sunshine). In the winter it's like my tropical paradise (except for the fact that most days it gets into the high 60s instead of 80s and 90s).

The rest of my plants are in windowsills or shelving units by windows, but none of these plants need any modifications to their environments..

I like it, all of it! Solarium!!! Paradise INSIDE, no need to visit some separate facility. Very cool!
